此種膠管的外膠層較厚,需先剝去一定長度的外膠方可把接頭裝上。一般為一層、兩層、三層鋼絲編織膠管和四層鋼絲纏繞膠管。

SKIVE TYPE
Skive hoses have a thicker cover which must be removed at the ends of the hose before the fittings can be attached.They may have1,2,3 write braids or 4 wire spirals.

不剝外膠扣壓
此種膠管的外膠層較薄,不需剝去外膠。管套內的銳齒會穿過外膠，直接咬進鋼絲層，一般為一層、兩層鋼絲編織膠管，樹脂管和鐵氟龍管等。 |
NON-SKIVE TYPE
Non-skive hoses have a thinner cover,the fittings bite down through the cover and grip the wire renforcement.They may be 1 or 2 wire braids,thermoplastic&PTFE.

此種膠管需要剝去部分的內膠和外膠,稱為內鎖式。適用于超高壓膠管的裝配,通常為四層或六層鋼絲纏繞膠管。 |
INTERNAL/EXTERNALSKIVE TYPE
This type of hose is for extra high pressure application,the outer cover and inner tube must be skived before installation,it has either 4 or 6 wire spirals.
